Stop overpaying for rigid software that doesn't fit. Get a custom barcode tracking system at a fraction of the cost.
Real production tracking dashboard. Color-coded status updates, automatic time tracking, department assignments, and complete traceability—all updating live as you scan.
LotLogic is a simple yet powerful barcode tracking system built on reliable, affordable hardware. Here's everything you need to know.
A compact computer that runs your entire tracking system. Reliable, low-power, and requires no IT infrastructure.
Professional-grade scanner that connects wirelessly. Scan items from anywhere on your floor—no cables needed.
Access your data from any device with a web browser. Monitor your floor in real-time from your office, phone, or tablet.
We program the system to match YOUR exact workflow—your stations, lot numbers, process steps, and terminology.
The process is incredibly simple:
When you scan an item at a station, the row turns red to show it's currently being worked on. Instant visibility into what's actively happening.
After a set amount of time (you decide how long each step should take), the row automatically turns green to indicate the process step is finished.
Shows which team is responsible for each item based on where it is in the process. Helps with accountability and knowing who to ask about a specific lot.
Custom status messages that make sense for YOUR process. Examples: "Assembly in Progress," "QC Complete," "Ready to Ship"—whatever terms you use.
Track products through multiple stages. Know where every lot is, how long it's been at each station, and identify bottlenecks.
Scan items in and out. Track stock levels, implement FIFO/LIFO, know exactly what you have and where it is.
Create inspection stations where items get scanned as PASS or FAIL. Build complete audit trails for compliance.
Measure how long each process step actually takes. Identify your slowest stations and optimize based on real data.
LotLogic was born out of frustration with expensive, complicated tracking systems that don't fit the way real manufacturers work.
While working on the manufacturing floor, I saw a problem: we were losing track of products as they moved through our process. Manual tracking with clipboards wasn't cutting it—too many errors, no real-time visibility, and constant questions about where things were.
When I looked at commercial solutions, they were either $50,000+ enterprise systems, rigid software that forced us to change our process, or subscription-based with monthly fees that added up fast.
So I built my own using a Raspberry Pi, a Bluetooth scanner, and some Python code. It cost about $150 in parts and solved our problem perfectly. It tracked our specific process, used our terminology, and gave us real-time visibility.
That's when I realized: if this problem exists in our shop, it exists in thousands of others. Small to medium manufacturers who need digital tracking but can't afford enterprise prices.
Not the other way around. Every shop is different, and your tracking system should reflect that.
Small manufacturers shouldn't have to choose between going digital and staying profitable.
You shouldn't need an IT degree to track your inventory. If you can scan a barcode, you can use LotLogic.
No cloud subscriptions, no vendor lock-in, no monthly fees. You own the hardware, software, and all your data.
Tell us about your tracking needs and we'll show you exactly how LotLogic can help. Most consultations take 30-60 minutes and there's no obligation.
