LotLogic was born out of frustration with expensive, complicated tracking systems that don't fit the way real manufacturers work.
While working on the manufacturing floor, I saw a problem: we were losing track of products as they moved through our process. Manual tracking with clipboards wasn't cutting it—too many errors, no real-time visibility, and constant questions about where things were.
When I looked at commercial solutions, they were either $50,000+ enterprise systems, rigid software that forced us to change our process, or subscription-based with monthly fees that added up fast.
So I built my own using affordable hardware, a Bluetooth scanner, and custom software. It solved our problem perfectly—tracking our specific process, using our terminology, and giving us real-time visibility into everything happening on the floor.
